Piezoelectric buzzer(Piezo buzzer) is a kind of sound generator that uses piezo electric ceramics as electroacoustic transducer. The core of this device is the energy exchange part pasted on the metal sheet with piezoelectric ceramic sheet, that is, piezoelectric buzzer sheet. Piezoelectric buzzer has attracted much attention and developed rapidly due to its characteristics of no RF noise and low power consumption.

Product features
Compared with other buzzers, piezoelectric buzzer has the following advantages:
1. Because there is no movable contact part, it has long service life and high reliability. It can be used continuously for more than 10000 hours. It is a semi permanent device
2. No flashover or RF noise, no interference to other lines
3. It will not cause large vibration due to looseness
4. Controlled by electronic circuits, it can produce a variety of pleasant sounds, analog sounds and intermittent sounds. The timbre is pure and not easily covered by noise
5. It is excited by voltage, so the consumed current is small, which is generally below 20mA and will not exceed 100mA
6. Small volume. The volume can reach 70 dB /20cm, and the thickness of the element is only less than 1mm
7. Wide operating temperature range
8. It is easy to install, and there is no electromagnetic coil and moving coil. There is no need to worry about the deterioration of insulation, and there is no possibility of leakage


Application
In fact, there are three commercial forms of piezoelectric buzzer, namely, piezoelectric buzzer complex,  piezoelectric buzzer sounder and piezoelectric buzzer, to meet the different needs of the market. No matter what form, its use is inseparable from alarm, judgment and notification. The piezoelectric buzzer for alarm is used for fire, smoke concentration, air leakage, theft prevention and automobile alarm. The piezoelectric buzzer for notification is used as notification in fish detectors, instruments, medical equipment, vending machines, washing machines, electric furnaces, etc., which is more advantageous than light indication. In addition, the  piezoelectric buzzer with analog sound and compound sound can also be used in toys, video games, etc.


Structure principle
     Piezoelectric buzzer is mainly composed of multivibrator, piezoelectric buzzer, impedance matcher, resonance box, shell, etc. The multivibrator is composed of transistors or integrated circuits. When the power is turned on (1.5~15v DC working voltage), the multivibrator vibrates and outputs an audio signal of 100~500hz. The impedance matcher pushes the piezoelectric buzzer to sound.


Product attributes
Driving mode: if it is unable to provide frequency signal to the buzzer, it can be considered to use the built-in driving line and give DC voltage. There are also different sound signals of straight tone, fast staccato and slow staccato
Size: size will affect the frequency, and the frequency of small size will be higher
Voltage: calculated by vo-p and driven by square wave, the higher the voltage, the higher the volume
Pinpitch: piezoelectric buzzer has many specifications, and it is often difficult to find exactly the same specifications. You can first try it with the same pitch and similar frequency.


Driving method
The piezoelectric buzzer can be driven by the driving circuit in the following two ways:
Self excited oscillation is a way to generate sound waves by using the oscillation at the resonance point;
He excited oscillation is a way of generating sound waves at frequencies far away from the resonance point.
